Although
it is now the tourist office of Ribadavia, it was previously used
as part of the Central Sefardí, dated from the seventeenth
centry. There is communication with the castle of the town through
a small door.
The
door is opened on the day of the Festival of History for communication
with the town square. This design is from the Baroque period of
art and architecture of the XVII century, was the property of the
aristocratic Sarmiento family and was used by the Catholic monarchs
during the reconquest of Muslim Spain.
