This pork-butcher’s shop is situated in the previous site of the renowned blacksmith Alejandrino Fernandez Suárezm (where its name comes from).
It is near the well-know ‘Fountain of Silver’, which has recently been restored to its previous state, with the water leaping up from the middle of the street.
The butcher’s offers the finest bacon from Cañiza, the familiar ‘Guijuelo’ or ‘Navidul’.
It stocks a great variety of local cheese, including ‘Tetilla’ and ‘Hollandes’.
If you do not like these, the owner Flora has other ways to indulge your palate, as there is also plenty of seafood and other meats.
